Veterinary Technician

As a Veterinary Technician, you already know what it takes to be a successful veterinary professional. Some of the key skills that we are looking for with this particular opportunity include: 

• Preventative care knowledge  

• Medication dispensing and administering

• Obtaining a complete patient history and maintaining treatment records

• Surgical experience (prep, monitoring, recovery, etc.)

• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement

Your talent and skill as a Veterinary Technician are certainly essential to your success in this role. Associate Veterinarian

Harts Run Veterinary Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA is looking for an associate veterinarian to join our close-knit team, dedicated to providing care for the dogs and cats in our community. Our long tenured staff includes two certified technicians and several team members who are working towards their certification.

Our hospital focuses on assuring the staff has the equipment needed in order to practice the best medicine. We are equipped with digital radiography, in-house lab machines, a complete surgical suite, dental radiography, high speed dental cart and much more. We are dedicated to providing the best experience for clients and patients. 

The majority of surgical procedures performed at Harts Run Veterinary Hospital consist of spays, neuters, tumor removals, and dentals. We do have the availability to accommodate any additional procedures you are comfortable performing! Our dedicated surgical technicians strive to make sure everything is up to par for any surgery.
