After the death of my cat last year, whom I
felt was a dog trapped in a cat's body, I was
devastated and very lonely. I felt the time
was right to rescue a puppy, and become a
dog mom.

When I first saw the little fluffball, along
with many other pups that needed adopted, I
instantly fell in love with her. She looked like
a little black bear. I brought her home at 12
weeks and felt like a new mom, complete
with worrying about pottying, sleeping,
eating, etc.
But since that day, my life has changed in such a great way! Moki (named after the Fraggle
Rock character) is my little buddy, and loves to snuggle. I've never understood the
'unconditional love' people talk about with their dogs until I got Moki. She is a very good
watchdog too, barking at the outside world if they come too close to her house! It is a nice
feeling when you live alone to have that, although she's definitely all bark and no bite, which is
another reason I love her!

She is a hit at the dog park because of her beauty and sweet personality, and once she settles
from excitement when she meets you, she is a wonderfully 'chill' dog. Her very favorite thing is
to have her belly rubbed, and she likes to play tug of war too. I've had her for over a year now,
and can't imagine my life without her. She truly is my baby girl. She loves other dogs, and likes
my mom's cat Lambert too! Her best buddy is her 'brother' Domino, whom I also rescued
about six months after Moki. Now I have a complete little family!!
