Carol has been working at Harts Run since July 2002. She started as a receptionist and is now the hospital manager. She also still works as a receptionist (and sometimes pretends she can be a technician) when needed.

Carol stays busy outside of the office too. She has three energetic kids (Adam, Emma, and Olivia) and three lovable shelter dogs (Shelby, Buster, and Ace). She enjoys spending time with family and friends and reading.

Patty graduated from the Median School with an Associates Degree and is also a certified animal nutrition consultant. She's been an integral part of Harts Run Veterinary Hospital since 1985.

She says that Harts Run's doctors and staff are extremely knowledgeable not only about the medical aspects of pet care but also in regards to the personal facets of pet ownership.

Patty is married and enjoys gardening, camping, hiking, watching wildlife, stargazing, crocheting and flower arranging. She is the proud mom of three cats, B.B. King, Keb-Mo, and Amber, one dog, Sam, fish, three birds, and several chickens.

Cheryl graduated from the Median School in 1984 and has worked off and on in the veterinary field since then. She joined Harts Run Veterinary Hospital in the spring of 2006. Cheryl has three daughters, one grandson, and one granddaughter. She also has four boxer dogs named, Zoe, Rocco, Dozier, and Chase.

For fun, Cheryl likes to walk her dogs, hike, dance to top 40 music, sunbathe and spend time with her husband riding their jet ski. She'd eventually like to move south to Myrtle Beach, so she can enjoy the HOT weather!

Barb has been with Harts Run Veterinary Hospital since 1980 and enjoys working with the clients and their adorable pets.

Barb's hobbies include landscaping, visiting parks, making crafts, and ATV riding. She has three loveable cats (all three were strays) named Martin, Fee and Dusty.

Jessica graduated from the Vet Tech Institute of Pittsburgh in February 2014. She has been working at Harts Run since August 2014.

She is married with one son, Mason, five cats; Boo, Emma, Gypsy, Zazu, and Buttons, and two ball pythons, Olaf and Luna.

Ever since Ruth was a little girl, she wanted to work with animals. Since 2003, she's been lucky enough to do so. Working at Harts Run Veterinary Hospital isn't her full time job, though. She's a software developer for a home health care agency and works on websites in her spare time. She also runs her own pet-sitting service.

Ruth is mom to Eliza Mae Ezmerelda, a beautiful, Dilute Tortoiseshell ("Tortie") Cat who was a stray Ruth trapped back in the winter of 2004; Sarah Butterfly, a short-haired Tortie; and Ivy Sterling, a silver-spotted Ocicat.

Kacy graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology from the Vet Tech Institute in March of 2016. She joined the Harts Run team in July 2018. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors riding ATVs and horses and hiking with her husband.

Jennifer has been working with animals practically her whole life, having grown up on a five acre farm in Ohio. In the last 10 years she has managed a doggie daycare facility, and was a lead dog trainer. In 2018 she joined the Harts Run team, primarily as our phone attendant, but you may catch her at the reception desk as well.

Jennifer lives with her husband Patrick, her dogs Dragon and Archer, kitty Sebastian, and a flock of ducks and chickens. In her spare time she enjoys camping, medieval re-enactment in the SCA, cooking, reading, and singing along badly to songs she doesn’t know the words to.
