Dr. Presley was born and raised in south Louisiana
in the heart of Cajun country. After attending LSU,
she moved to the Washington, DC area where she met
her husband, Jamie. Following the birth of their
daughter, she returned to Louisiana to be near
family and to complete her degree.
She worked as a real estate paralegal for many years
prior to deciding that veterinary medicine was her
dream. Although not a "traditional" student, she
found that she was not alone in deciding to change
careers later in life. Dr. Presley began classes at
the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary
Medicine on the same day her daughter began
kindergarten and she graduated in May 2003.

After graduation, Dr. Presley and her family
relocated to the Pittsburgh area. She now lives in
McCandless and works as an associate at Harts Run
Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Presley has 3 cats, 2
dogs and 3 birds and she enjoys reading, watching
movies and cheering for the LSU Tigers.
