Ever since Ruth was a little girl, she wanted to work with
animals. Since 2003, she's been lucky enough to do so.
Working at Harts Run isn't her full time job, though. She's
a software developer for a home health care agency and
works on web sites in her spare time ... including this one!
Ruth is mom to Eliza Mae Ezmerelda, a beautiful, dilute
torti who was a stray Ruth trapped back in the winter of
2004, and Emma Magnolia, an adorable, little gray
chinchilla who is always up for a banana chip.

Mae always wanted to work in the veterinary field and
was given the opportunity to work at a hospital in
Monroeville until the veterinarian retired. Luckily, Mae
saw that Harts Run was hiring! She's grateful to have the
chance to work here and learn more from the
knowledgeable staff.
Mae has been married for five years to Dean and has two
human children, Brandon and Cole. She also has three fur
children. Two are cats, Stormie and Sunnie, and one is a
dog, Zarina, shown here in Mae's photo!
