Gwen is a rescue dog from State College, PA. She came to us when she was one year old with a
lot of anxiety issues. She relies on her dog brother Max to help keep her calm and feeling safe.
Gwen likes to run in the woods and chase chipmunks and squirrels. She doesn't come back
when called, but always comes back in her own good time. She is always happy, especially
when she gets herself some new perfume by rolling in dirty things in the woods.
Max is a rescue dog from a puppy mill in Maryland. He is special because he listens so well, and
is so well-behaved. He takes care of his sister dog Gwen and keeps her out of trouble, when he
can. When Gwen runs off in the woods, Max finds her. When Gwen tries to chew something
she shouldn't, Max tells her not to, and tells on her when we get home. Max smiles all of the time
and greets everyone with a wagging tail, although he likes dogs better than people most of the
time.
