I have had cats continuously throughout my life (half
a century, give or take). I 'know' I shouldn't have
favorites but I have never had such a dear-hearted,
noble and all together delightful cat companion as our
Tiger Lee.
In these later years, he often makes a midnight (or
2AM) indoor prowl. Always the skilled hunter, he
now loudly yowls to proudly announce his catch of a
fat pair of socks which he parades throughout the
house.
At 18, he is the treasured elder statesman of the
family cat clan. He is amazingly tolerant of the 2
youngsters, Wild-eyed Birdie (who is 2) who adores
him and pesters him non-stop, and the 6 year old
Boo, a mini-me version of Tiger Lee.
