Hi! My name is Sam. Let me tell you a little about my life. I was brought to Harts Run in 2006
to be euthanized. The staff, with my former owner's permission, adopted me (much to my
delight, I must say!).
I hung out for a few weeks since most of the workers there were already maxed out with pets.
Luckily, the husband of one of the ladies there said, "Bring him home!" ... without even meeting
me!
So, here I am living with a boxer dog named Captain and a cat named Butters. Both Captain and
Butters have a habit of running away from me. I'm not sure why. I like to follow my mom
around ... she's my favorite. Every night I sleep with her until about 5AM when it's time to play
and jump around the room. It's great fun!
Oh, I didn't mention that I'm deaf! But that doesn't deter me from being happy! I'm a very lucky
little cat.
